Around 100 laundromat owners and managers gathered to attend Laundry One's 1st annual open house and service school.

Michael Sokolowski, COO of The Coin Laundry Association, presented on Industry Trends: 10 Ways To Increase Store Profitability. Dexter Financials Director of Portfolio Development presented Section 179 Tax Cuts & Jobs Act. Laurence Cohen, freelance writer for American Coin-Op, presented on American Coin-Op Tour of America’s Most Unique Laundries.

Dexter’s line of products was a hot topic, as owners discussed in details how to achieve greater performance, efficiency and financial success.

In addition to Dexter Laundry, the open house featured 11 other exhibitors, including the Coin Laundry Association, Laundry Creative, SpyderWash, Brown Supply, Standard Change-Makers, Imonex, NATCO, Monarch Coin & Security, Greenwald Industries, Dexter Finance, and CCI Card Concepts.

Breakfast, lunch, and dessert were provided by a selection of Central Ohio's top rated food trucks; The Early Bird Coffee And Bakery Truck, Blue Olive Food Truck Catering, The Paddy Wagon Food Truck Catering, and Johnsons Real Ice Cream Truck.

All laundromat owners who pre-registered for the open house were entered into a grand prize drawing to win $5,000, $1,500, and $750 in Laundry One credits towards equipment, parts, and service.

“We are thankful for all the people who attended the open house and benefitted from our passion and comprehensive knowledge about the industry,” says Kelly Kantor, Laundry One marketing director. “The event was an incredible success due to your overwhelming support, and we are already working on making the event even better for next year. We will soon be announcing the dates for a lineup of service schools we will host at the Laundry One Training Center Spring 2019”
